Each video type is tailored to optimise audience engagement and enhance brand recognition in today’s competitive landscape. -
The cost of video production can vary significantly based on several factors, including the complexity of the project, the level of expertise required, and the resources involved. I mostly work with budgets of £2,000 - £80,000.
Elements such as location, equipment, crew size, and post-production techniques can greatly influence the final budget. For instance, simple shoots with limited locations and minimal post-editing may be achievable within the lower end, while high-end productions incorporating advanced cinematography, high-quality talent, and extensive editing and deliverables could range higher.
Ultimately, the investment you make is often reflected in the overall quality and impact of the final product, making it crucial to balance cost with desired outcomes. -
Investing in video production can yield far greater returns by strategically creating a variety of cutdowns and different deliverables from a single shoot. By capturing multifaceted content during the filming process, such as shorter edits for social media, behind-the-scenes clips, and targeted versions tailored to specific audiences, brands can maximise the reach and impact of their original material.
This approach not only amplifies engagement across various platforms but also ensures that the initial investment serves multiple functions—extending the lifecycle of the content while providing diverse marketing assets that capture the attention of different demographics. -
A deposit is required to secure a date for your shoot. This deposit ensures your booking is confirmed and typically amounts to a minimum of £500 or 15% of the total quote, whichever is greater.
You can cancel the shoot up to 30 days before the shoot for a full refunded deposit.
You may also re-schedule your shoot date up to a 7 days prior without penalty; however, should you need to change, the deposit may be retained as compensation for work turned down for your reserved date. -
I will always be 100% transparent with costs, ensuring that we thoroughly define the scope and budget upfront to avoid any unpleasant surprises.
The only instances in which costs may increase are scope creep, rush charges or overtime.
Scope creep is when the scope of what is required increases after the initial quoting process. Some typical examples of this are realising you need extra/different deliverables, require more help with pre-production planning or would like to refine an edit with additional rounds of amends.
Rush charges cover overtime required to meet an expedited timeline.
Overtime costs may be required due to delays caused by factors.

The video production process has three key stages: pre-production, production, and post-production.
During pre-production, careful planning takes place to make sure both the client and video production team have a clear plan to agree on. This includes concept creation / development, treatment writing, scriptwriting, storyboarding, and casting, ensuring that every detail is meticulously organised. Not every production requires all these steps but they all will require a plan to be successful.
In the production phase, the actual filming occurs, carrying out the plan we made and adapting as needed.
Finally, post-production is where we shape the raw footage into an engaging final piece, sometimes adding visual effects, motion graphics, sound design, and colour grading too for a highly polished piece. -
Every production is built on collaboration, ensuring that your feedback and involvement can be integrated at every stage of the process.
We are happy to work more or less collaboratively based on your capacity and preferences. Whether you desire a hands-on role throughout the project or prefer a more autonomous approach, our team is committed to fostering a partnership that suits your needs. When working with agencies we understand that both the agency and their client will want separate rounds of feedback.
-
Typically, it’s best to allow for around four weeks from start to finish; however, this timeline can vary significantly based on the complexity of the project. If there is capacity to, we will always strive to turn around a project as quickly as possible.
For clients needing a quicker turnaround, we offer the option to expedite the process for an additional rush charge of 20% on the quoted cost for each stage that requires acceleration. This fee is implemented to cover the extra staffing costs and out of hours working necessary to adapt to the revised schedule, ensuring that we maintain the quality of the final output while meeting urgent deadlines. -
We provide unlimited usage of our music and sound effect options from our Artlist.IO library as standard with all productions, ensuring that your videos have the perfect audio backdrop without added costs.
Should you require music from a different service, you have the option to supply it to us, or we can provide a quotation for the necessary licensing. It is crucial to ensure that the licence aligns with your intended usage, as an incorrect licence could result in your video being removed from the hosting service or even legal implications.
Voiceovers we can source for you at an additional cost (if not quoted for originally). We can record a VO ourselves to test the script and edit together before committing.
