Having filmed conferences before I really wanted to try and elevate this video to match the quality of the speakers and the quite epic setting of Kimpton Fitzroy. Like many events timing was crucial during filming. I was told the key speakers to capture and made sure I spent plenty of time capturing them. I wanted lots of audience reaction shots and b-roll of the venue to help build the story.
In the edit I knew I wanted to end on the powerful standing ovation to Lesia’s talk and chose music that would set the tone whilst building tension to end of this special moment (see above).
I also edited a longer more sales orientated edit which included Vox Pops of some the speakers and delegates. (see below)
