The client wanted to make sure that the scale and 'epic' of the event was captured. It was the first event for his new events company and wanted to impress! To help the video do so I employed the use of multiple techniques: Using time-lapse and drone shots to show the scale of the build. A cinematic style of editing & sound design for the intro (to set the tone for the Steam Punk theme). And then further use of sound effects throughout to emphasise key moments and to help immerse the audience in the experience. This is one of my favourite edits to date and was one hell of a night to film.
