This video was played to build anticipation before one of the main speakers at Corndel’s Cornfest hit the stage. To create the high energy feel I edited it like a music video using music to drive the energy.
One of Corndel’s values is ‘Turning Knowledge into Performance’ which I wanted to symbolise by having a maestro piano player cutting to someone coding on a computer keyboard. It fit with the piano fill in the music to create a strong moment that linked to their key brand values.
I created the motion graphics in this, riffing on the design asset of the slanted line and playing with variations on the brand's colours through both the clips chosen and tinting to give impact when played on the large projector screen.
